This New Brunswick based artist creates extremely intricate and unique wire and copper sculptures! For this holiday season, she has released 19, original pieces that are featured in the gallery below!
"Hi, my name is Katie Molloy. I grew up in Quispamsis and currently live in Rothesay with my husband and our two kids. I started making trees out of copper wire as a way to cope with my anxiety and depression. It was a soothing and emotional outlet. The trees give such a beautiful image of fighting against storms. It was a reminder that there is beauty amidst the storm. Lots of my wire is recycled and untreated. It may tarnish, but there is beauty in that too."
