About the Founders: JAMES MULLINGER, Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief

James Mullinger is an award-winning writer, comedian and filmmaker and a highly acclaimed inspirational and motivational speaker. He was one of the UK’s hardest-working comedians, as well as a journalist, TV presenter and author. He spent 15 years at British GQ magazine, interviewing everyone from Jerry Seinfeld to Rachel Weisz. In 2014, he moved to Saint John, New Brunswick, for a better quality of life. In his first 18 months, he was nominated for a Just for Laughs best comedy show award and a Canadian Comedy Award. In April 2016, he sold out New Brunswick's biggest indoor arena with his live stand-up comedy show, beating Jerry Seinfeld's sales record. This show was documented in the CBC documentary film City On Fire, which aired on CBC's prime-time Saturday night in September 2016. He has also written a best-selling book and for The Guardian newspaper and for Glamour and Men’s Health magazines.
